About Us
I’m the maker behind the stitches, a crochet artist creating cozy, handmade plushies and blankets one stitch at a time. When I’m not surrounded by yarn and ideas, you’ll usually find me reading books or playing cozy games. I started crocheting because I loved the calming rhythm of creating something by hand, and it quickly grew into a passion for making meaningful, handmade items that bring warmth and happiness to others. Every piece is crafted with care, patience, and a lot of love, right here in Montana. I believe handmade things carry a little extra magic, and I love creating pieces that bring warmth, comfort, and a bit of whimsy into everyday life.
I’m the resident yarn inspector, nap specialist, and full-time supervisor of this crochet shop. My job is very important: I test the softness of every blanket and plushie, make sure the yarn is properly tangled at least once, and keep a close eye on all projects from the best seat in the house. When I’m not hard at work, you can find me sunbathing, demanding chin scratches, or “helping” by sitting directly on whatever is being made. I believe every handmade piece should be cozy, comforting, and approved by at least one cat — and I’m here to make sure that happens..
